ipod interview at ape 2006

on saturday, during the alternative press expo, i got interviewed for this guy who does a literary critique blog, edward champion's return of the reluctant. at the ape, he was assigned to interview the very successful rising graphic novelist alex robinson. so i supposed this edward champion decided to make a day of it and interview a random assortment of comic book creators and cartoonists. i was lucky enough to have grabbed his attention with my blown up cover of 'diary of a catering whore'.

i cannot stand the sound of my voice on this recording. i sound like some effete flaming cousin of dr. frasier crane, complete with cigarello and ascot. i sound like that old queeny film critic rex reed.

regardless, if anyone is interested, it is a sampling of artists there that day, just a sampling. i am on the second of three podcasts, part of 'the bat segundo show'. i don't quite get the bat segundo thing. except the guy is probably really a matt segundo who is vamping it up with a vampire accent. to cut to the chase, since each recording is over an hour, i'm just past the middle of the quicktime podcast.
